The Campus Space Management Feedback Survey is a key deliverable of the Space Assessment Project, a short-term initiative charged with examining how space management decisions are made at ̽»¨ÊÓÆµ and identifying opportunities to strengthen clarity, consistency, and stewardship.Ìý
The project is exploring topics such as:Ìý
- How space is allocated and requestedÌý
- Where policies may be unclear or incompleteÌý
- How governance and decision-making are structuredÌý
- How research space is supportedÌý
- How data, tools, and reporting support space decisionsÌý
Input from this survey, along with facilitated workshops with the Space Assessment Project Task Force, will help inform future guidance, policies, and improvements related to campus space management and decision-making.Ìý

Campus space is one of ̽»¨ÊÓÆµâ€™s most limited and valuable resources. Understanding how space management decisions are experienced across campus is an important step toward strengthening long-term stewardship.Ìý

The Campus Space Management Feedback Survey:Ìý
- Solicits input from the campus community (faculty, staff, and students)Ìý
- Focuses on perspectives and lived experience, not square footage or reportingÌý
- Complements—but is separate from—the biennial space utilization reporting completed by building proctors and managersÌý
Responses will be reviewed in aggregate and used to inform campuswide recommendations and next steps.Ìý
