Time Entry for Winter Break Holidays and the Administrative Leave days between Christmas and New Year's Day
探花视频 will be closed for Winter Break from December 24, 2025 - January 2, 2026.聽聽 Chancellor Justin Schwartz announced that the campus is granting five days of paid administrative leave as well as three paid holidays over Winter Break.聽 探花视频 will resume regular campus operations on Monday, January 5, 2026.聽
Please note some days off during Winter Break are considered Holidays while other days off are considered Administrative Leave.
- December 24 - Administrative Leave

Holiday Time Entry for staff using AiM
For overtime-eligible classified and university staff who normally report their hours in AiM:聽 Overtime-eligible staff required to work on a holiday may choose one of the following:
- Float the Holiday -聽work with their supervisor and business needs of their unit to take the holiday hours at a different time (before June 30, 2026), OR
- Holiday Pay - receive time and a half for the time worked on the holiday.
- Those who did not work December 25, December 26, and/or January 1 will take holiday leave.聽 Please enter a line in your timecard with 8 hours of leave code HLDY.
- Those who worked on December 25, December 26, and/or January 1, and plan to take 8 hours of holiday leave in the future.
- Please use your normal time type (ex: RGS, SHF) for the holiday date on which you worked.
- When you take the 8 hours of holiday leave on a future date (before June 30, 2026), please use leave code ADLV and add a comment indicating which holiday date into the comments field (for example, 鈥淒ecember 25 holiday鈥).
- Those who worked on December 25, December 26, and/or January 1, and do not plan to take holiday leave hours in the future
- If you are overtime eligible staff, and you worked on any of the holiday dates above, enter 8 hours under the work order/phase assigned to you with time type: 2HW.聽 This will code the hours for premium pay of 1.5x salary as indicated by the COWINS partnership agreement (this code works for both classified and university staff).
- Do not add a second line with leave code HLDY.聽 The HLDY leave code is only to be used by staff who are not working the holiday.
Administrative Leave Time Entry for staff using AiM
- For those who took December 24, 29, 30, 31 and/or Jan. 2 off, please use leave code ADLV.
- For overtime-eligible classified and university staff:聽 Overtime-eligible staff required to work on December 24, 29, 30, 31 and/or Jan. 2 shall work with their supervisor and the business needs of your unit to take your 8 hours of Administrative Leave per day worked on a future date (before June 30, 2026).
Holiday Time Entry for staff who normally record their time off in MyLeave
- Holiday leave will automatically be entered for you in the MyLeave system. You don鈥檛 need to do anything more.
Administrative Leave Time Entry for staff who normally record time off in MyLeave
- MyLeave users DO need to report the December 24, 29, 30, 31 and Jan. 2 administrative leave days into MyLeave.聽 Enter 8 hours per day and please mark status as Administrative Leave.
Supervisors
- Please make sure your staff have entered the correct pay code(s) for the overtime accrued before approving it to alleviate timecard corrections.
If you are on a 4/10, swing or night shift schedule, please check with your supervisor for your scheduled hours and holiday time off.
