Infrastructure and Resilience will be hosting our winter employee appreciation luncheon on Thursday, Jan. 23, 2025. As part of our event, we will be announcing our employee annual award winners. If you have noticed I&R employee(s) working to make the campus a better place to work, study or visit, please consider submitting a nomination for one of several awards described below. Individual staff winners will receive a plaque and a gift card. Student winners will receive a certificate and a gift card. Team winners will receive a group meal or a party. We are very lucky to live and work in Colorado; it gives us the chance to enjoy some amazing weather. Though our summer temperatures are still around, the time to prepare for the changing weather is now. Our teams who work outside year-round – and do an amazing job maintaining our campus – and those who commute to campus should start planning now for the cooler weather. This includes checking your vehicle for the winter season, being mindful of the changing weather, and thinking about how you will navigate campus when the cold weather arrives. Finally, stay in touch with your team members during the winter months and make sure they are safe while at work.

The 2024 University of Colorado Boulder's Annual Security and Fire Safety Report (ASFSR) is now available.

This report is required by a federal law known as the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, and contains policy statements and crime and fire statistics for the ̽����Ƶ campus. Statistics from the past three years (2021-2023) are included for Clery Act crimes that were reported on campus, in non-campus buildings or on property owned or controlled by the university, and on public property within or immediately adjacent to campus. Also included are policy statements addressing crime reporting, fire safety, timely warnings, crime prevention programs and campus resource organizations.

You can receive the report in printed form by visiting the ̽����Ƶ Police Department, 1050 Regent Drive, Boulder, Colorado. You may also request a copy be mailed to you by emailing CU Clery Compliance Officer Nick Dokkin.

These are sent when there is a confirmed immediate threat to the safety of those on campus or near campus in areas of high student populations, or when there is a change to the university’s operating status. The FM safety committee meets the third Tuesday of every month to discuss general safety concerns, review safety reports and on-the-job injuries and recommend training needs and resources.
