Through CU’s partnership with United Airlines, eligible employees can receive up to 10% off personal travel fares when booking through United’s Break from Business program.

Discounts apply to most published fares in Economy and premium cabins (Basic Economy excluded) and vary by fare class.

How to access the discount

Connect your CU work email to your United MileagePlus account in the Concur App Center or through your Concur profile.
Enroll your email address here.
Log in to your MileagePlus account on united.com or the United mobile app.
Select Personal travel when searching for flights to view Break from Business fares.

The discount will appear automatically when eligible flights are selected.

Program details

Employees may include up to eight additional travelers on the same reservation at the discounted fare, as long as the employee is part of the booking. MileagePlus members continue to earn miles and Premier Qualifying Points (PQP) on discounted tickets.

The discount applies to eligible United-marketed flights for round-trip travel only and requires a Saturday night stay. It cannot be combined with other discounted or private fares and does not apply to government-imposed taxes and fees.

Valid for U.S. points of origin to all destinations and worldwide points of origin to U.S. destinations. Basic Economy fares are excluded.

Bookings must be made by Dec. 31, 2026. All travel is subject to United’s published fare rules and Contract of Carriage.

Through the University Libraries, each pass allows entry of one vehicle into Colorado State Parks. Passes can be requested online, and they circulate for one week from the Norlin Library East Service Desk.

They have a total of four passes for use. At the time of check out, they can provide additional items such as:

Backpacks
Binoculars
Guides
Leaflets with supplementary information about Colorado plant life

These passes are provided to ̽��Ƶ through the Check Out Colorado State Parks Program.

Faculty and staff who submit feedback about CU Advantage perks, benefits, services and resources will be entered into a monthly drawing to win $50.

Reviews like yours not only help others identify discounts and services that will best serve them, and any feedback to improve perks — or the instructions for using them — is welcome. Your feedback can guide CU in shaping future offerings.

Testimonials submitted within a given month will be eligible for that month’s giveaway. In other words, if your testimonial is submitted between Feb. 1 - Feb. 29, you’ll be entered into February’s drawing. Multiple submissions are allowed each month. The more testimonials you submit, the better your odds to win.

Winners will receive their prize in their next paycheck, prorated after taxes to equal a full $50. Past winners may enter future drawings for another chance to win in 2026.

Faculty, staff, and dependents covered by a CU Health Plan can access one preventative mental health visit per plan year with no out-of-pocket costs.

The mental health visit covered by this benefit is intended as a preventative health visit, similar to an annual physical exam. As such, this preventative health visit is limited to any appointment with a qualified clinician intended to assess the patient's behavior or concerns and identify possible mental health challenges.

Please note: Any visit in which treatment is administered, such as a therapy session, qualifies as a regular clinical visit and will not be covered as a preventative mental health visit.
