Advice from Dr. Mull: Embrace the season and celebrate tradition
Hi Buffs,ÌýÌý

Campus has been full of energy this fall. From the cool autumn mornings to the excitement of Homecoming week, this season has been a wonderful reminder of the spirit and connection that defines our Buff community.ÌýÌý
Exam encouragementÌý
As we reach the midpoint of the semester, I want to take a moment to recognize the incredible effort, focus and resilience you continue to show. I know that balancing academics, work and life can be challenging, but your commitment does not go unnoticed. Stay the course and keep believing in yourself. You are capable, you are strong and you are moving forward with purpose.Ìý
Celebrating HomecomingÌý
This week marks the start of Homecoming, one of our most cherished traditions. It is a time to celebrate who we are as Buffs and honor the legacy that connects us across generations. It is a time to celebrate what it means to be a Buff. Whether you are joining the , attending events or simply showing your school spirit, I hope you feel the pride and connection that make our community so special. Traditions like Homecoming remind us that we belong to something bigger than ourselves—a legacy of care, impact and shared purpose.Ìý
Let’s connectÌý
I invite you to join me for on Thursday, Nov. 13 from 1-2 p.m. in C4C S350. These gatherings are among my favorite ways to connect with students, listen to your experiences and celebrate the many ways you contribute to our campus. Whether you have a question, an idea or simply want to say hello, I would be delighted to see you. Your voice matters, and I am always grateful for the chance to hear directly from you.Ìý
Looking aheadÌý
As fall break approaches, I encourage you to take time to rest and recharge. Step outside, enjoy the season and reconnect with what brings you joy. And as finals draw near, know that you are not alone. The Division of Student Life and our Buff community are here to support you every step of the way.Ìý
Take care of yourselves, take care of each other and keep showing the world what it means to be a Buff.Ìý
Warmly,Ìý
Dr. D’Andra MullÌý
