Modified Language Program

The Modified Language Program (MLP),Ìýdeveloped at the University of ColoradoÌýBoulder over twenty years ago, offers Spanish language courses to students who demonstrate a need for curricular modifications.

The MLP courses are different from the equivalent mainstream classesÌýmainly because different pedagogy, teaching materials, and methodology are employed to meet the needs of the students.

The program serves eligible ̽»¨ÊÓƵ baccalaureate degree-seeking students who have conditions with demonstrated impact on language learning:Ìýsustained traumatic brain injuries,Ìýsensory impairments,Ìýpsychiatric diagnoses, returning veterans, etc..

The first step in the MLP eligibility process is a short intake interview via Microsoft teams.Ìý
