Fall RAP Course Registration

Register for your fall 2026 RAP class at your New Student Orientation (NSO)* this summer!

*All new students who will be starting at CU in the fall semester are required to attend New Student Orientation (NSO).

How to Register for your RAP class

• Choose your registration method:

Option 1 - RAP Course Selection Form- Students can request the RAP course of their preference independently on June 5th via the RAP Course Selection Form which will be emailed to all Creative Minds RAP students (i.e. Libby Hall residents). Please check your colorado.edu email to locate this form.

Option 2 - New Student Orientation - Students can meet with a Program Coordinator in-person at a New Student Orientation in order to help identify a RAP course that aligns with their academic interests.

• When: Registration begins June 5th via the RAP Course Selection Form, and the following week via New Student Orientations. The RAP Course Selection Form is available until the class add deadline, Aug 28th 11:59pm.

• Find Your Time: You can find your assigned enrollment window on the Registration Card within your Buff Portal. You may request a RAP course via the RAP course selection form before your assigned enrollment window.

• First Year Students:ÌýYour specific enrollment window is tied to your new student orientation date.

If you miss your enrollment window,Ìýplease submit a class request via our form (link coming soon). If you have any questions or issues, please email Joel Chabrier at creativeminds@colorado.edu.Ìý

How to register for your RAP class via the RAP Course Selection Form:

Submit the Course Selection Survey emailed to your colorado.edu email address from qualtrics_survey@cusurveys.colorado.edu with your 4 course choices. We will try to get you into your 1st choice preference for a RAP course, but you may be given another choice you selected if there is an issue getting you into your 1st choice preference (e.g. the course filled before you requested it). If you want to include comments or concerns with your course choices, please feel free to do so. The more information we have the better, however please know that it may not be possible to honor all requests. If you need to make a change to your RAP course preferences after submitting the survey, please email creativeminds@colorado.edu.

Virtual NSO

Virtual NSO students will be sent a Zoom link to connect to a session with their advisor the day before their NSO session. A separate Zoom link will be sent for RAP course registration to meet with RAP Program Coordinators to select a RAP class. Upon connecting via Zoom, you will join a waiting room, and the host will let you join the meeting once they are free to meet with you. You may need to wait approximately 15 minutes before being connected to the Program Coordinator if the sessions are busy, or there may be no waiting period before being connected. Please contact Carmen Jura at carmenj@colorado.edu if there are any issues connecting to a Program Coordinator for RAP course registration during a virtual NSO.
