Judicial Branch

The CU Student Government Court is composed of seven lifetime-appointed justices, led by a Chief and Deputy Chief Justice, who interpret and enforce the CUSG Constitution. The Court holds sole jurisdiction over constitutional questions, issuing binding opinions that shape CUSG’s authority and operations. Bar Advocates, trained and regulated by the Court’s Bar Advocate Commission, act as pseudo-attorneys to provide free and impartial representation for students in judicial cases. Together, the Court and Bar Advocates uphold the Constitution’s legitimacy and ensure CUSG remains accountable to the student body it represents. The judicial office is UMC 136, past the main CUSG office.Ìý
