Check in for orientation and pick up name tags for you and your registered guests.

We'll welcome you to campus and share an overview of what to expect from your orientation experience.


Housing Presentations

9:45 - 10:15 a.m. | UMC Glenn Miller Ballrooms & UMC 235
Learn more about what to expect from your move to Boulder in the fall. Presentations will be tailored to your housing situation, with options for students living both on and off campus.


Housing and Resource Fair

10:15 - 10:50 a.m. | UMC Arcade & UMC South Terrace Tent
Speak to Boulder area property managers about vacancies and leases for this upcoming academic year in the UMC Arcade, or head to the South Terrace Tent to talk to representatives from a variety of campus offices and resources.

We’ll briefly come back together as a group to provide instructions for the remainder of the day and dismiss you to your next location.

Learn from current ̽»¨ÊÓÆµ transfer students about the essentials of transferring and connect with other new transfer students.

You'll also enjoy lunch in one of our campus dining halls.


Academic Advising & Registration

12:50 p.m. | Outside the Center for Community
We will meet at 12:50 sharp outside of the Center for Community to walk you to your advising location for the afternoon. BE ON TIME! Find the Journey Leader holding the sign for your academic college, and they will lead you to your advising location.

Don't forget to bring your laptop or tablet with you to use for class registration.

Activities during this portion of the program vary by academic college; you areÌýrequiredÌýto stay for the full duration of your college’s program, and individual colleges or students may be done at different times.Ìý

Once your college’s program has concluded, you are officially done with orientation!

Enjoy lunch in one of our campus dining halls. After lunch, while you wait for your student to wrap up their afternoon in Advising & Registration, drop by any offices for whom you have lingering questions or spend some time exploring campus.
