Classes are held Mon-Fri, 9:00 – 12:00PM. Class size is 5 students.

In this weeklong course, students learn the basics of safely operating the manual knee-type milling machine, and the manual lathe. Fundamental machining principles, basic metrology, appropriate safety precautions/PPE, and shop technique are taught through two machining projects.Ìý
