Faculty Data
The Faculty Data & Impact (FDI) team manages and maintains faculty data that supports the Office of Faculty Affairs (OFA) and the faculty lifecycle across ̽»¨ÊÓƵ.Ìý
In partnership with the Office of Information Technology (OIT), we oversee the Faculty Information System (FIS), ̽»¨ÊÓƵ’s central system for faculty records. Human Capital Management (HCM) serves as the system of record for core employment data, while FIS captures faculty-specific lifecycle information such as tenure clocks, promotion and tenure milestones, comprehensive and post-tenure reviews, sabbaticals, retention actions, and emeritus status (see FIS records below).Ìý
In some cases, personnel actions are recorded in both systems. Together, FIS and HCM provide a comprehensive view of ̽»¨ÊÓƵ’s faculty.Ìý
