New Faculty Orientation

The Office of Faculty Affairs welcomes all new ̽»¨ÊÓÆµ tenure-track, teaching, and clinical faculty through its New Faculty Orientation (NFO) programming, held annually a week before the first day of the semester.

Thriving at CU Series

Thriving at CU is a monthly workshop series open to all and oriented for the needs and interests of tenure-track, teaching, and clinical faculty who are in their first three years at ̽»¨ÊÓÆµ. Participation in at least 8 Thriving at CU sessions over your first three years will earn you a faculty development certificate. Thriving at CU covers the following content areas:

  • New Faculty Orientation
  • Thriving in the First Year: What I Wish I Had Known (Individual sessions for and )
  • Thriving as a Mentor: Supporting our Students
  • Thriving in Community: Identities on Campus
  • Thriving in Community and Leadership: Faculty Relations and Governance
  • Thriving in Wellness: Resources to Support You

These sessions are not recorded to create a comfortable environment for open, candid discussions and engagement.
