Classes, Workshops and PresentationsÌý
Health Promotion offers classes, workshops and presentations to support students as they reflect on their relationship with alcohol and other substance use.Ìý
Nicotine Coaching and Quit KitsÌý
Health Promotion provides free nicotine coaching, anonymous online check‑ins and free quit kits. Nicotine patches and gum are also available for purchase over‑the‑counter at the Apothecary Pharmacy in Wardenburg Health Center.Ìý
Counseling & Psychiatric Services (CAPS)Ìý
CAPS offers services related to substance use, including assessments, brief individual therapy, referrals to recovery and community resources, support for concerned friends and family members and suboxone treatment.Ìý
Student Outreach, Advocacy & Support (SOAS)Ìý
SOAS supports students in navigating challenges and connecting with campus resources. Case managers work with students to identify concerns, explore options and create an action plan, including support related to substance use.Ìý
Office of Victim Assistance (OVA)Ìý
OVA provides free, confidential counseling, advocacy, information and referrals for students who have experienced trauma, violence, harassment, discrimination or other life‑disruptive events.Ìý
Collegiate Recovery Community (CUCRC)Ìý
CUCRC offers peer support, meetings, recovery‑focused housing, events and connection for students in recovery or exploring recovery related to alcohol, drugs, eating disorders, self‑harm and other unwanted behaviors.Ìý
Naloxone (Narcan) and Fentanyl Test StripsÌý
Naloxone is an FDA‑approved medication that can temporarily reverse an opioid overdose. Naloxone is available for free and without a prescription at the Health Promotion front desk (third floor of Wardenburg Health Center) with a Buff OneCard, and for purchase at the Apothecary Pharmacy.Ìý
Fentanyl test strips are a free harm‑reduction tool that can help reduce the risk of overdose by detecting the presence of fentanyl in substances before use. Because fentanyl can be present even when it’s not expected, test strips offer an important layer of safety and awareness for individuals who choose to use substances. Fentanyl test strips are available at the third floor desk at Wardenburg Health Center.Ìý
CU NightRideÌý
CU NightRide is a free, student‑operated night‑time transportation service for ̽»¨ÊÓÆµ students, staff and faculty.Ìý
WellTrackÌý
WellTrack is a free app available to all ̽»¨ÊÓÆµ students. It offers self‑guided tools and courses based on cognitive behavioral therapy to support mental well‑being and address concerns such as stress, anxiety and depression.Ìý
